We are pleased to announce a job opening for the position of Liaison Officer at Alfa-Omega India. As a renowned export house, we specialise in trade of auto spare parts, commodities and road construction equipment and are looking for a dedicated professional to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact between our company and various banks and export bodies for day-to-day banking and export operations.
  • Manage and execute export documentation-related banking transactions, such as letter of credit (LC) negotiation, document collection, and payment processing.
  • Coordinate with banks to resolve any discrepancies or issues related to export documentation, LC terms, and payment settlements.
  • Stay updated with international banking regulations, trade finance practices, and foreign exchange procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records of banking transactions, receipts, and payments, ensuring compliance with internal policies and procedures.
  • Liaise with internal departments, shipping agencies, and customers to ensure timely and smooth banking-related operations.
  • Handle any other banking-related tasks assigned by the management.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in banking operations, trade finance, or export-related banking roles.
  • Strong knowledge of export-related banking processes, LC terms, and international trade finance.
  • Proficient in using banking software and systems for transactions and document management.
  • Possession of a valid driving license and own mode of transportation.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial transactions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with banks, internal teams, and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and handle multiple tasks concurrently.
